About Me

Hey there, thanks for stopping by. I am Prashanth Babu (aka P7h / PB), a Big Data developer; currently in London, UK.

I am a software engineer since 2002 and have been working with NTT DATA for ~12 years. My work has been mostly on Java and related technologies and for a brief while developed Android apps too.

Since 2011, I have been working on Big Data and Hadoop Ecosystem on various R & D initiatives with NTT DATA R & D HQs, Tokyo. I am a Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop [CCDH]. One of my projects was showcased at Gartner Summit, Barcelona in 2013 and nREAP was highlighted on NTT DATA website.

Of late, I have been working on a very exciting project: SmartICU – comprehensive predictive analytics for ICU patients, for which there were few press releases as well.
